AI Chat Powerkit Privacy Policy
Last Updated: July 27, 2026
We take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy outlines what data we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it when you use our browser extension.
Information We Collect
When you use our extension, we collect the following information:
- Your ChatGPT Account Email: Used to identify your user account in our extension without requiring separate registration.
- Payment Status and Plan Information: Includes whether you’ve paid, your selected plan, and subscription expiry date — used to determine feature access (free vs. paid).
- Chat UUIDs (not content): We store the unique identifiers (UUIDs) of your ChatGPT conversations to help you organize them into folders. We do not store your conversation content.
- Personal Settings and Text Expansions: Your text expansions and personalized preferences are automatically saved to the cloud to enable syncing across devices. This data is encrypted before storage and is not stored in plaintext.
How We Use Your Data
We use the data collected solely for the following purposes:
- To automatically create a user account using your ChatGPT email.
- To provide folder organization, personalization, and text expansion features.
- To verify your payment status and activate premium features accordingly.
- To support secure multi-device sync for your settings.
Notion Integration and Export
If you choose to enable the Notion feature, the extension will ask you to provide a Notion internal integration token. We use this token to verify your Notion connection, retrieve the list of pages that your integration is authorized to access, and remember the destination page you select for future exports.
When you choose to save a chat to Notion, the extension will access the selected ChatGPT conversation data, including the conversation title, conversation URL, and the message content you choose to export, and send that data to the Notion API to create a page in your Notion workspace.
The Notion token, selected destination page ID, and selected destination page name are stored locally in the extension's browser storage so the Notion feature can continue to work across sessions. We do not require you to enable the Notion feature in order to use the rest of the extension.
You may disconnect your Notion integration at any time from the extension settings. Disconnecting the integration stops future exports, but it does not automatically delete content that was already exported to your Notion workspace. Exported content remains subject to your own actions in Notion and Notion's policies.
Data Encryption and Security
- Sensitive data such as chat UUIDs, settings, and expansions are encrypted before being stored in our servers.
- We do not store any chat content on our own servers.
- We do not use analytics tools like Google Analytics or other third-party trackers.
Third-Party Services and Data Sharing
We do not sell or share your data with unrelated third parties.
We use Paddle to process payments. To verify purchases, we match the email you enter at checkout (via Paddle) with the email used in our extension. This email is not "shared" with Paddle by us — you provide it during checkout, and we use it as a user identifier.
If you use the Notion feature, relevant data is transmitted to Notion in order to provide the export functionality you requested. This may include your Notion integration token, authorized page metadata, selected destination page information, conversation title, conversation URL, and the conversation content you choose to export.
Data Retention
For the Notion feature, the extension stores the Notion integration token and selected destination page settings locally until you disconnect the integration, clear the extension's local data, or uninstall the extension. Content exported to Notion is stored in your Notion workspace until you remove it there.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Request access to the data we store about you
- Request deletion of your account and all related data
To request deletion of your data, please contact us at samliu720@gmail.com and include the email address associated with your account. To protect your privacy and ensure the security of your information, we may need to verify your identity before processing your request — for example, by requiring the request to be sent from your registered email address. Once your identity is verified, we will process your deletion request within 30 days and notify you once the deletion is complete. Please note that we may retain certain information if required by law or for legitimate business purposes, such as maintaining financial records or resolving disputes.
Cookies and Tracking
This extension does not use cookies or any tracking technologies.
Policy Changes
If we make significant changes to this policy, we will notify you via the extension interface or update notification.
